Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

If you've ever had a single meal with me you'd know that I try my damndest to involve either avocados or potatoes. That's neither here nor there but what I will tell you is that I love my eye cream to have avocados in it. Yeah, that's dedication.

Righty-o, well I've tried a fair few eye creams. The good, the bad, and the drying. Hands down this my favorite eye cream so far, as it's been incredibly nourishing and hydrating for my poor lil' under eye luggage. The greenish glow of the cream blends away and leaves a thin film of oil that will sink in overnight and leave you with soft and hydrated skin. From my experience it's too rich for daytime, but for nighttime, it combats my wrinkly little under-eyes and leaves me looking slightly less crinkly than my face allows. Let's be honest, my eyes crinkle whether I'm deliriously happy or arguing about the prices of almond butter.
It's not cheap, nor free of parabens, but it is free of mineral oil which is vital! Learn about the good and bad oils, kids! If you're one of those poor unfortunate souls like myself with milia, you'd best steer clear of mineral oil. Also, this eye cream doesn't migrate, so if you've got more oily skin and the skin around your eyes is drier, feel free to use and then an oil-free moisturizer everywhere else!
I can't say more good things about this eye cream except that it enables my inner OCD that loves that avocado has taken over my life. Put it in ALL THE THINGS!

The blog post that almost never was-- NARS Douceur Blush

Well this blog post is only a little over 6 months overdue, so let's get on with it. Douceur is the famed matte rosy-brown blush from NARS that has had many light to medium skinned ladies clamoring about their newfound cheekbones. Fully count me in to that group, as Douceur lifts the face and adds a warm rosy brown hue to the face and some chiseling all in one swipe. It may seem like a lot of fanfare over a blah looking blush, but I assure you, it's well worth the hype.

Apologies for the extreme close-up, but this photo is the best I've taken to show how much Douceur shapes the face. Dusted with a bit of highlighter on top of Douceur, I've got the flush and contour and sheen that I need to take over the world, or at least bustle around with my smug new defined cheeks!
What do ya'll think? Have you been sold on Douceur? What's your fave NARS blush?
