Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow in Midnight Brown

I'll start off by saying that this eyeshadow is the bees freakin' knees. The perfect taupe-shimmer-warm-mushroomy brown. As weird of a description as that is, it's fairly accurate.
Last month I ventured into Sak's after storming out of Inglot (long story) and deciding if I couldn't get an Inglot palette, I was getting a burberry eyeshadow.
I walked over to the counter and after holding pale barley and midnight brown in my hands for a good five minutes, I decided on midnight brown. It's honestly the more versatile of the two in my opinion, as midnight brown can work as a sheer wash of color on the lid, but can also build up for an intense smokey eye.
The texture of these shadows is the softest and most buttery consistency I've encountered. I even find on my creasy eyelids, that this shadow can do no wrong.
At $29.00 a shadow you'd think there was GOLD inside, alas, there is none. However, if you're willing to splash out and try a truly exquisite shadow, I'd head over to Burberry.

WORD OF MOUTH--Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains

Every beauty blogger and youtuber has spoken about these balm stains, so here I am to throw my hat into the ring. I absolutely love them and they have great staying power. I can put one on in the morning, go about my day and by the evening I'm left with a faint stain of the original morning color.

As someone who loves a bold lip color, I find my biggest obstacle is wondering throughout the day if my lipstick has ended up on my chin or cheek. 

With these stains, they really cling to the lips! The initial balm keeps the lips soft and with a subtle sheen, but once the balm has been worked off through drinking/eating/talking, you are left with a comfortable satin finish to your lip color!

At a little over $7 I think that these stains are good to have if you're a lover of bold lips but maybe a bit apprehensive about the longevity of the color.

My only real complaint is that when these stains are twisted all the way up, you see that the product only fills about 2/3 of the container.

Not thrilling but incredible colors and wear. I think I'm on the hunt for the shade 'honey' now, it's supposedly a soft muted mauve!

WORD OF MOUTH--NUXE Rêve de Miel Lip Balm

With a name like 'honey dream' it's no wonder so many people are going bananas over this lip balm. This french lip balm has a citrusy orange scent and when smoothed onto the lips, it leaves a comfortable  semi-matte finish while still hydrating.
I find that in all the lip 'moisturizers' I've ever used, this balm is by far the best. Instead of sitting on top of the lips and creating a shiny and glossy effect, the rêve de miel sinks into the lips and hydrates within.
Ever since I've bought this it's been camped out by my notebooks and textbooks on my desks for a quick bit of lip balm while I study and write papers.
If you're like me and you get SUPER dry lips year-round (although it does get worse in the colder months), then this might be your answer.
It cost me a pretty penny at $20 a pot, but considering you get 15g I don't know if it's that unreasonable.

Ingredients: Cera Alba/beeswax, Olus Oil/vegetable Oil, Lecithin, Behenoxy Dimethicone, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (sweet Almond) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (shea Butter) Extract, Mel /honey, Butyrospermum Parkii (shea Butter), Dimethicone, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Citrus Grandis (grapefruit) Peel Oil, Caprylic/capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Glycine Soja (soybean) Oil, Rosa Moschata Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol, Citrus Medica Limonum (lemon) Peel Oil, Candelilla Cera/euphorbia Cerifera (candelilla) Wax, Allantoin, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Bht, Citric Acid, Citral, Limonene, Linalool [n0802/c].

I've been dying to do posts like this where I give you a little monthly wishlist of beauty favorites and non-beauty favorites. I was inspired to do these monthly wishlists from reading Meg's blog. Unfortunately the weather where I am is still muggy and miserably hot out, but I'll do my rain dance and hope for colder weather.

If I had to pick three must haves on my wishlist I'd say the ASOS cuff, the Chanel nail polish, and the Caudalie Serum are at the top.
